PanARMENIAN.Net - American entrepreneur of Armenian descent Alexis Ohanian has teased a new "secret" Armenian project which he is set to unveil on Monday, November 12.
"It's almost time, my friends... Secret Armenian project unveiled tomorrow," Ohanian captioned a photo on Instagram on Sunday.
While it's unclear what exactly the Reddit co-founder will introduce this time, the photo he posted on social media depicts him seated in front of a table, with several bottles of of what appears to be some kind of alcoholic drink placed on it.
In a recent interview, Ohanian recalled a trip he took to Armenia back in 2010, saying that he “spent a few months in the motherland” and got back to his roots.
Ohanian's mother was born in Germany, while his father is the son of Armenian immigrants.
PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian team of Greco-Roman wrestlers has snatched two bronze medals at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Maksim Manukyan (82 kg) and Artur Shahinyan (87 kg) brought the medals home, while Olympic champion Artur Aleksanyan was unable to participate due to injury.
On November 11, the Budapest French Institute will host a grand ceremony to commemorate the Great Chansonie Charles Aznavour, organized by the Armenian Diaspora in Budapest, in which Urartu Armenian theatre will take part. Aznavour was a prominent French-Armenian singer, songwriter, writer, filmmaker and public figure, who also was the Armenian ambassador to Switzerland since May 2009 and Armenia's permanent representative to the UN Office in Geneva and other international organizations
September 15 was a day full of events in Veszprem. There were a number of events dedicated to Armenia and the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan. The opera singer Nelson Sahakyan, the leader of the Armenian Diaspora in Hungary Alex Avanesian and others were present at the event. The guests enjoyed Armenian music, got acquainted with the history of Armenian carpets, and took part in the exhibition. The event could not have been held without Armenian traditional dishes and Armenian wine and brandy. At the end of the event the guests left with a piece of Armenian particle.
